Okay, so it's been a week since I last blogged anything. I can't let this funk I'm in get me off track! It's not that I've been blowing my attempts to lose weight, I just haven't been doing as much as I should. Can't remember anything about Thursday or Friday, other than I was getting ready for a yard sale. We ate at Michael's Friday night, and I had popcorn shrimp, fried zucchini and mushrooms, and green beans. I drank water. Saturday, I had an egg McMuffin for breakfast and a turkey sandwich for lunch. In between, I had a special k snack bar. For supper, I at at Minick's, but I didn't eat that much pizza. Ate more of other, more healthy things, I think.
Sunday I had cereal for breakfast, lunch at mom's that was mostly vegetables, and a mint oreo blizzard for supper. Monday I had a sausage mcmuffin ( I think, I asked for egg mc) for breakfast, slim fast for lunch, and Krystal chics for supper.

Wednesday
Breakfast: egg sandwich with coffee, bottle of water
18 minutes on wii fit
Lunch: mouth was too numb to eat...messed up slightly by letting a honey bun melt in my mouth. washed down with diet coke
Dinner: manwich and a half, with toasted ritz. bottle of water
12 more minutes on wii fit
on third bottle of water
All in all, okay, I guess. Will find out tomorrow when I go to the doctor for annual checkup!

A good day!
Today was a good day. For breakfast, I had a scrambled egg sandwich and black coffee. Lunch was a turkey breast sandwich, a few toasted ritz chips, and bottled water. Supper was grilled porkchops (boneless and lean with a touch of BBQ sauce), stewed squash, sliced tomatoes, and asparagus. I also had cantalope and drank water.
I spent most of the day relaxing, reading a Karen Kingsbury novel. After supper, I did a 30 minute wii fit workout.
I am about to have a snack of watermelon and watch tv with my husband.
Almost forgot...I've lost between one and two pounds, depending on my personal scales and my wii fit scales!

the rest of Monday
After breakfast, I worked out for 30 minutes with my wii fit! That is the first time I've done more than 15 minutes, so I was pleased.
For lunch, I had a turkey breast sandwich and a big bowl of watermelon.
Before supper, I did some yard work, as I helped my husband, uncle, and cousin clear out a couple of pines that fell into our yard during the storm last night. (Bonus exercise!)
For supper, I had salmon patties, potato soup, stewed squash, fresh tomatoes, cantalope, a biscuit with a small amount of cane syrup, and unsweetened tea. I'm on my third bottle of water today. I think it's third, may be fourth.
All said, I'm pleased. I didn't overdo it today as far as food is concerned, and I got some good exercise in.

New Week, New Attitude
After blowing it this weekend, between 4th of July cookouts and family reunions, I decided that I had to start over with a better attitude. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit for breakfast, along with black coffee. I just finished a 30 minute workout with my wii fit, and am in the process of drinking my first bottle of water. Weight this morning 162. Nurse practitioner will not be happy come Thursday!

today
I've started out better today. Black coffee and a bowl of fresh watermelon. I cut up a whole watermelon and a cantalope (not sure about the spelling there) and put them in the frig to ward off hunger issues. Now when I get to feeling those pangs, I can go grab a healthy snack!
So, yesterday was not good. I started out okay, I think, with an egg biscuit and fruit/yogurt parfait. Tried to eat something soft because my mouth was hurting like crazy. I'll be so glad when I get these braces off! Anyway, after I ate, I went to get my oil changed, and while I was gone, my sister-in-law and her husband came over followed by my step-daughter. After I drank a Slim-Fast, we went swimming, and I swam several laps plus did some water aerobics. That would have been great, if I only I didn't blow it when we got back to the house. I had let myself get too hungry, so I overate like crazy! I had a pepperjack cheeseburger (small one), two bunless hotdogs, and some chips. My only saving grace was that I also ate some fresh tomatoes. Oh, and I drank a lot of water throughout the day!
I have to do better! I'm tired of not being me...I'm not meant to be fat!
